I first met Craig through my clients who were first time home buyers. I called him up to introduce myself and ended up going to his office for a one on one meet. I left thinking what a stand up guy and great personality; no wonder my clients wanted his services. Anyway the transaction went as smooth as could be. Craig kept myself and our clients informed during all steps of the transaction. I was even able to rely on him to attend the closing with my clients due to the fact that I knew I would be out of town the weekend of the closing. I look forward to my next transaction with Craig and won’t hesitate to offer his services to my clients.

Recently my brother and I used Guild Mortgage to purchase a home. We were both first time home buyers, and Craig was a huge help. He worked hard to get our loan through as quick as possible. He made sure we understood every step of the process. He even drove out to Nampa numerous times to sit down with me and make sure I felt comfortable with the process. He was quick to return messages, and answer any questions. I would highly recommend Craig to anyone who is looking to buy a home.

Purchased my last home 2 years ago in May. I was referred to our loan officer Craig Ballhagen through my father, Mike McLaughlin. I knew that if my Dad was willing to refer Craig, that he had already been through a thorough battery of questions and interrogations regarding his personal and professional integrity. It had also helped that I had already become acquainted with Craig as he had made many trips to our home to assist my parents in obtaining the correct paperwork and signatures for their loan.

I highly recommend Guild Mortgage and Craig Ballhagen in particular. We were trying to get a home loan through a local bank and were told one hour before our scheduled closing that they were not going to fund. We had a “Plan B” so we signed the papers anyway but it was only a temporary fix. Our realtor mentioned Craig Ballhagen as someone who could help us. He was able to pick up the broken pieces and put together a refinance loan package in just over four weeks. He helped us get ready for a new appraisal, met with us to go over details of the process and called numerous times throughout to make sure we were comfortable and that we got through all the hoops. We got the loan and are in our new home. I’ve recommended Craig and Guild Mortgage to two friends since our very positive experience just two weeks ago. Thank you, Craig.
