I would like to comment on the $8,000 tax credit, as my husband and I were able to take advantage of it, earlier this year.
Although, I had previously owned a home, it was a rental property and not my primary residence within the prior 3 years. Therefore, we qualified for this awesome stimulus.
Also, we have utilized the tax credit monies to offset the uncomfortable increase in our monthly obligation for a rent/home mortgage payment. This requires that we are diligent in holding back those monies to help us, and have a plan of how we plan on taking on the additional expenses, once they run out.
